Rebates Many private health funds provide rebates for psychological consultations. Please check with your fund to find out your eligibility.
Lisa is a recognised clinical psychology provider with Medicare. Medicare Australia has a 'better access to mental health' scheme which provides a rebate when your general practitioner refers you or your child for psychological intervention. Eligibility for the scheme can only be deemed appropriate by your medical practitioner. From 2024, Medicare rebates for psychological therapy provided by a psychologist are $93.35 and clinical psychologist $137.05, per session, for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
